The Tasmanian Brick Enthusiasts Inc. invites all Primary Schools and Primary School Children in Tasmania to compete in a Brixhibition Kids Lego Competition running in 2024.
The Brixhibition Lego Challenge offers 2 types of schools individual student entries
1. For schools or groups with less than 12 participating students
No age groups (all students)
Each Primary School's Winning Entrant will win a "Age Group & Overall" winners medallion
or
2. For schools or groups with more than 12 participating students
an option for up to 4x age groups (with a least 4 student per age group)
- Prep – Kinder - winner to receive a winner's medallion (Age Group or Age Group & Overall Winner)
- Grade 1 – 2 - winner to receive a winner's medallion (Age Group or Age Group & Overall Winner)
- Grade 3 – 4 - winner to receive a winner's medallion (Age Group or Age Group & Overall Winner)
- Grade 5 – 6 - winner to receive a winner's medallion (Age Group or Age Group & Overall Winner)
The school then must pick 1 overall winner from their age group winners to represent your school at Brixhibition
The overall winner will recieve 1x "Age Group & Overall" winners medallion
Each Primary School or community group can determine their own Lego challenge winner with the
following rules and conditions.
Each Lego display to be no larger than 52cm x 52cm x 52cm, or no larger than four 32x32 lug
Lego baseplates.
Each Lego display must be an original or freelance design, and not made from a Lego kit or
instructions.
Some minor Adult help is allowed, but the Lego design should mainly be child's own design.
Each School or community group must confirm their participation no later than Friday 1st
March 2024
Each Lego entry to be completed and displayed at your local school or community group "in
house" or "virtually", by no later than Monday 25th March 2024.
Each Primary School's or community group's overall winner must be determined and
announced by no later than Friday 29th March 2024.
Schools and community groups can choose to undertake their own judging by photos
(virtual) or in‐house (as previous years)
Each Schools Lego Challenge overall winner then will be invited to compete against
other schools overall winners.
All Brixhibition Kids Comp overall winners, will be invited to showcase their winning
Lego Models at the Brixhibition event, and participate in the "Grand Competition" to
be judged by Tasmanian Brick Enthusiasts Inc. members at the Brixhibition event Sat
20th & Sun 21st April at the Door of Hope (Glen Dhu)
Grand Prize winners will be announced at the Brixhibition Launceston 2024 event on
Sunday 21st April at 3:20pm.
Brixhbition Lego Competition Grand Prizes:
1st Place: $300 Lego Voucher + Winners Trophy
2nd Place: $200 Lego Voucher + Trophy
3rd Place: $100 Lego Voucher + Trophy
4th Place: Samll Lego Kit + Trophy
Brixhibition Kids Competition 2023 participating Northern Tasmanian Community Groups
Please ask your Southern Tasmanian Primary School if they are participating in the Brixhibition Kids Competition.
